Alabama vs.Sewanee

  Date: 10/11/1930
  Score: 25-0
Alabama vs. Sewanee In Alabama's first off campus game of the 1930 season Alabama faced the Tigers of Sewanee in Birmingham and came away with a 25-0 victory. This was the third consecutive shutout of the season. It was obvious that the Tide took this game very lightly as two of the stars, John Cain and John Suther didn't even play and much of the coaching staff was off in Tennessee scouting the Vols for the next game. J.R. Campbell and John Tucker each scored twice for Alabama in the game. The 1930 squad finished the season 10-0 as Southern Conference champions and as national champions for coach Wallace Wade in his final season at Alabama.
