  Alabama vs. Washington The Huskies of the University of Washington made the long trip from Seattle to Tuscaloosa, and were shutout by the Tide 52-0. Bama would score 24 first quarter points to put the game out of the Huskies reach early. In the first, Richard Todd would score on an 8 yard touchdown run, Willie Shelby would score on a punt returned 84 yards for a touchdown, Johnny Lee Davis would score on a 31 yard touchdown run, and Danny Ridgeway would hit a 22 yard field goal. In the second, Bama would score a pair of touchdowns on a 28 yard Robert Fraley touchdown pass to Ozzie Newsome, and on a 2 yard Tony Nathan touchdown run. Davis would close the Tide's scoring for the afternoon with a pair of touchdown runs in the third (51 and 6 yards). Alabama would rush for 404 yards in the game with Davis rushing for 155 of those yards. The 1975 squad finished the season with a record of 11-1, as SEC champions, and with a victory in the Sugar Bowl for Coach Bryant.
