  Alabama vs. Mississippi State For the second week in a row, Alabama would shutout a school from Mississippi, and this time it was the Aggies of then Mississippi A&M that fell to the Tide by a score of 46-0 in Starkville. William "Billy" Hicks was simply outstanding in this contest in scoring four touchdowns and gaining 172 yards of total offense. Tony Holm would also score a pair of touchdowns and Billy Partlow would visit the endzone as well to provide the winning margin. The 1928 squad would finish the season with a record of 6-3 for head coach Wallace Wade.
