  Alabama vs. Vanderbilt Vandy was no match for the Tide in this contest, with Bama easily winning 35-21. Bama would take a 14-0 lead in the first on a 61 yard Kenny Stabler touchdown pass to Dennis Homan and on a 1 yard Stabler touchdown run. Vandy would then score the next 14 points to tie up the game in the second before Steve Davis hit a 21 yard field goal to give the Tide a 17-14 halftime lead. Davis would then open the third by hitting a 30 yard field goal, and Stabler would hit Homan again for a 15 yard touchdown reception. Leslie Kelley would close Bama's scoring with his 2 yard touchdown run in the fourth. The 1967 squad would finish the season with a record of 8-2-1 and with an appearance in the Cotton Bowl for Coach Bryant.
