  Alabama vs. Georgia Tech For the third week in a row, the Tide would hit the road to do battle on the field, and for the third time in a row, Bama would return to Tuscaloosa victorious after defeating Georgia Tech by a score of 21-0. Alabama's first points came in the opening quarter on a short Hoyt Winslett touchdown pass to Herschel Caldwell. After a second quarter Emile Barnes interception, Winslett would hit Archie Taylor (who was playing with a broken hand) for a 38 yard touchdown reception. In the fourth, Barnes would intercept a second Tech pass, and run in the ball form 4 yards out a couple of plays later to provide the winning margin. The 1926 squad finished the season with a 9-0-1 record, as southern conference champions, and as repeat national champions for coach Wallace Wade.
