  Alabama vs. Sewanee After a solid 42-0 victory over the LSU Tigers a week earlier, Alabama would play its first Birmingham game of the 1925 season and defeat Sewanee by a score of 27-0 in Rickwood Field. Alabama would get on the board in the first after Pooley Hubert was able to punch the ball into the endzone from one yard out. IN the second, Hubert would visit the endzone again on a very short run. After being held scoreless in the third,, the Tide would score a pair of fourth quarter touchdowns to put the game away on a 35 yard Herschel Caldwell pass to Grant Gillis and on Hubert's third touchdown of the afternoon. The 1925 squad would finish with a record of 10-0, as Southern Conference Champions, and as national champions after defeating Washington in the Rose Bowl for head coach Wallace Wade.
