  Alabama vs. Tennessee Alabama simply flattened Tennessee in this contest winning the game 25-0 up in Knoxville. Bama made 17 first downs and gained 265 total yards. The story of this game however was that of Paul W. Bryant. Bryant played the entire game with a broken leg and although he didn't score a touchdown he was a factor in all of the scoring drives Alabama had and this was his best game ever. Riley Smith scored the first Tide touchdown in the first quarter after a drive in which Bryant caught two balls and lateralled to Smith when he took it to the 4 yard line. On the next scoring drive Bryant was the star with his 30 yard catch and it was Joe Riley who scored on a 14 yard touchdown run. Riley scored the next touchdown as well a few plays after Bama recovered a fumble in Tennessee territory. Riley Smith scored the final touchdown on a 9 yard run. Alabama finished the 1935 season with a record of 6-2-1 for Coach Frank Thomas.
