  Alabama vs. Sewanee For the second week in a row the Crimson Tide simply destroyed its opponent. This time Sewanee was the victim as the Tide rolled over them 65-0. Alabama used 39 players and scored 2 touchdowns in the 1st, 3rd, and 4th quarters and 3 in the second. Joe Kilrow, William Slemmons, Hershel Mosley, and Silas Beard all scored 2 touchdowns while George Zivich and Charlie Holm each added a single score. The 1937 squad finished the season 9-1 as SEC Champions and with a loss in the Rose Bowl for Coach Frank Thomas.
