  Alabama vs. Georgia Dixie Howell had a dominating performance for the Tide in this 26-6 win over the Bulldogs. Howell would rush for 152 yards on 15 carries, all without playing in the second half, on that Birmingham afternoon. Howell would also score Bama's first two touchdowns in both the first and second quarters. The Tide would then close their scoring with a pair of third quarter touchdowns scored by James Angelich (38 yards) and Joe Demyanovich (2 yards). The 1934 squad would finish the season with a record of 10-0, as SEC champions, and as national champions after defeating Stanford in the Rose Bowl for head coach Frank Thomas.
