  Alabama vs. LSU The Tide and the Tigers battled hard at Heinman Park in New Orleans however both defenses held strong as the teams went away with a 7-7 tie. 4,000 fans saw the game. Alabama's offense was able to gain 23 total first downs to the Tiger's 6 but the punting of LSU's Ives held the Tide down hard with his 55 yard average. After a scoreless first half Hulet Whitaker scored the only Alabama touchdown on a 3 yard run and then LSU came back in the fourth to tie the game. The 1921 squad finished the season 5-4-2 for coach Xen Scott.
