  Alabama vs. Kentucky The Tide spoiled Homecoming in Lexington with their 26-6 pounding of the Wildcats. After a short punt and an interception Alabama got the ball on the Wildcat 33 yard line which set up the first score. CharleyHolm punched it accross on a 6 yard run. It was Holm again who helped set up Bama's next score when he intercepted the ball setting the Tide up again at the Wildcat 33. This time it was Hershel Mosley getting it accross from the 5. Kentucky scored its only touchdown next off of a 71 yard fumble recovery but from that point on it was all Alabama. Victor Bradford scored the third touchdown on a 3 yard pass from Mosley and the final score came from Tut Warren who recieved a Mosley pass for 9 yards. Alabama would finish the 1938 season with a record of 7-1-1 for Coach Frank Thomas.
