  Alabama vs. Florida The University of Florida traveled to Tuscaloosa to start the 1904 season. This game also marked the first ever for the Florida squad. Alabama didn't care however and defeated the Gators 29-0. William Ward scored the first touchdown of the game capping a 45 yard drive. He also added another touchdown later in the first half. Chamberlain scored a touchdown in the first on a short end run, and Auxford Burks capped the scoring for the half with a 53 yard run. Frank Clark scored the final touchdown late in the game. The 1904 squad finished the season 7-3 for coach W.B. Blount in his final season at Alabama.
