  Alabama vs. Clemson For the second week in a row the Crimson Tide hosted a game on campus, this time to the Clemson Tigers and just as was the case the week before Alabama shutout its opponent this time by the final of 32-0. Bama scored at least one time in every quarter. Gene Blackwell scored the first touchdown of the game on a 15 yard end run that was set up by a Perron Shoemaker interception. Blackie Caldwell scored the second touchdown of the game on a 5 yard run later in the first quarter. In the second quarter Charlie Holm went over the line on a 3 yard run. Alabama's second half touchdowns were scored by Young Boozer on a 39 yard run and Joe Kilgrow on a 5 yard run. The 1936 squad finished the season 8-0-1 for Coach Frank Thomas.
