  Alabama vs. Georgia Alabama's undefeated streak was extended to five games as the Thin Red Line defeated the Georgia Bulldogs in Atlanta 14-0. Alabama's use of the "Millitary Formation" allowed them to defeat the Dogs. Derrill Pratt broke his own conference record with a 50 yard field goal in this game to start Bama on its road to victory. Jere Austill scored the first Alabama touchdown early in the second half and the final score came on a 25 yard pass from Pratt to Robert Bumgardner. The 1909 squad finished the season 5-1-2 for coach J.W.H "Doc" Pollard in his final season at Alabama.
