  Alabama vs. LSU The Tigers of LSU came into Tuscaloosa on Homecoming Day, and would leave the home fans with the satisfaction of a win in losing to the Tide 24-0. After a first half in which the only points Bama could muster came on a Herschel Caldwell field goal, Hoyt Winslett would run back a blocked Tiger punt 25 yards to the house. In the fourth, Fred Pickhard would block a second punt that was returned by Ben Enis 15 yards for a touchdown. Emilie Barnes would score Bama's final points of the afternoon on a short run in the fourth. The 1926 squad finished the season with a 9-0-1 record, as southern conference champions, and as repeat national champions for coach Wallace Wade.
