  Alabama vs. Birmingham Southern Alabama dominated Birmingham Southern in such a way that by the end of the third quarter the score was 81-0, and the game was called as a result of the opponent being utterly exhausted and unwilling to complete the game. The game was no contest from the start as the Thin Red Line was able to score eight first quarter touchdowns. Charles Long, William Harsh, Cecil Bates, Charles Cargile (each scored two apiece), Hargrove VandeGraaff, Bully VandeGraaff, James Hagan, and Howard Jones all scored touchdowns in the blowout. The 1913 squad would finish the season with a record of 6-3 for head coach D.V. Graves.
