  Date: 11/1/1930
  Score: 19-0
Alabama vs. Kentucky Homecoming in Kentucky was spoiled by the Tide as Alabama came in and defeated the Wildcats 19-0 in front of 22,000 stunned fans. Up until this game the critics said that Alabama didn't have a passing attack. Those critics were silenced in this contest in the first quarter when Jimmy Moore fired a 44 yard strike to John Suther who caught it in stride and scored for the first touchdown. Alabama was held scoreless in the second and third quarters but in the fourth tacked on two scores. Monk Campbell scored on an 8 yard run to open the final period and later Leon Long scored on a 37 yard dash down the field. The 1930 squad finished the season 10-0 as Southern Conference champions and as National champions for coach Wallace Wade in his final season at Alabama.
