  Alabama vs. LSU In what was at the time the largest crowd ever to witness a game at Denny field the Crimson Tide destroyed the LSU Tigers by the score of 47-3. The lone tiger score came on a second quarter field goal. Charles Bartlett scored first for Alabama on an 8 yard run to open the second quarter. Allan MacCartee scored next in the second with an 8 yard run of his own. Hulet Whitaker and Al Clemens also added touchdowns in the second quarter. Clemens's score came off of a Bartlett pass. Pooley Hubert added a touchdown in the third quarter, his first since being moved to back from tackle earlier in the season, and Charles Bartlett continued his dominating performance with yet another touchdown of his own. Bartlett also added the final touchdown late in the fourth quarter. The 1922 squad finished the season 6-3-1 for coach Xen Scott in his final season as head coach.
