  Alabama vs. Kentucky A week after being shutout by Wisconsin in Madison, Alabama would return to the friendly confines of Montgomery's Cramton Bowl and defeat the Kentucky Wildcats by a score of 14-0. Touchdowns were scored by J.R. Campbell in the second and by Tony Holm in the third. Kentucky would play a very close game throughout resulting in probably the most entertaining game of the 1928 season. The 1928 squad would finish the season with a record of 6-3 for head coach Wallace Wade.
