  Alabama vs. Florida The Tide would make the short trip from Tuscaloosa to Montgomery's Cramton Bowl and simply destroy the Gators of Florida by a score of 49-0. Emile Barns would open the scoring for Bama in this contest by scoring a touchdown from one yard out in the first. In the second, Bama would score a pair of touchdowns on a pair of Tolbert Brown runs (1 and 22 yards). In the third, Bama would once again score a pair of touchdowns, and they were scored by 47 yard Brown run and on a one yard Barnes plunge. Bama would then put a exclamation point on the victory by closing the afternoon with another pair of touchdowns in the fourth. These were scored on a one-yard Dick Hammer run and on a short pass from Raymond Pepper to Earl Smith. The 1926 squad finished the season with a 9-0-1 record, as southern conference champions, and as repeat national champions for coach Wallace Wade.
