  Score: 20-16
Alabama vs. Georgia Tech The Alabama defense allowed its most points in a single game of the season letting GT get 16 but the offense still put up 20 to give Alabama the 20-16 win. Bama scored on its first drive of the game when a 4th down 11 yard Joe Kilgrow pass was caught by Blackie Caldwell for a touchdown. After a Tech punt Alabama got the ball on their 25 and advanced to the 2 where James Nisbet ran it in for the second score. Alabama later took a commanding halftime lead of 20-0 with Perron Shoemaker took a Kilgrow pass into the endzone for a touchdown as the half ended. In the third quarter Alabama gave up a saftey early which was followed by a touchdown and then an early fourth quarter touchdown to bring Tech to within 4 points but the game would end with that score. Tech's quarterback tried frantically late in the game to get something going but he couldn't connect with any of his passes for any major yardage as the game ended. The 1936 squad finished the season 8-0-1 for Coach Frank Thomas.
