Alabama vs.LSU

  Date: 11/15/2003
  Score: 3-27
  Alabama vs. LSU

Alabama's offense never really got off the ground in this game as they netted just 219 yards in a 27-3 loss to number 3 ranked LSU. One bright spot for the Tide was Brian Bosticks late 4th quarter field goal. The score marked the end of a streak that didn't see the home team score a point since the 3rd quarter of the 2001 game. Alabama was shut out in the final quarter of that game and LSU was shut out 31-0 in Baton Rouge in 2002. Alabama recorded zero first downs in the first quarter and just 10 for the game. The Crimson Tide finished the season 4-9 for head coach Mike Shula in his first season at the Capstone.
