  Alabama vs. Georgia Tech For the second week in a row, Alabama would defeat a team by the score of 40-0, and this time the Tide would indeed "send the Yellow Jackets to a watery grave" in front of 14,000 in Atlanta. Joe Demyanovich would score Bama's first points with his touchdown run in the first. In the second, Dixie Howell would score a pair of touchdowns with the first coming on a 65 yard punt return and the second being a 40 yard pass to Don Hutson. Riley Smith would visit the endzone in the third on a 6 yard quarterback sneak, and Howell would follow suite by scoring his third touchdown of the day on a 5 yard run. Joe Riley would conclude Bama's scoring for the afternoon with his touchdown pass to Ralph Gandy. The 1934 squad would finish the season with a record of 10-0, as SEC champions, and as national champions after defeating Stanford in the Rose Bowl for head coach Frank Thomas.
