  Alabama vs. Auburn Alabama rode down to Jordan-Hare stadium for the third time with hopes of finally beating the Tigers on their home turn and once again were denied losing 31-27. Freddie Kitchens started off the scoring for Alabama with a 52 yard touchdown pass to Toderick Malone. Later in the first quarter Malone scored another touchdown, this time on the ground running it in from 59 yards out. After being held scoreless in the second quarter Michael Proctor kicked a 20 yard field goal through the uprights to put the Tide within a touchdown. Four minutes later Alabama got that touchdown on a 1 yard run by Freddie Kitchens to tie the game at 24. Michael Proctor kicked another field goal, this one a 36 yarder to put Alabama on top for the first time in the game. However with ten minutes remaining Auburn scored on a 22 yard run and they didn't look back. The Crimson Tide's season was over with a defeat down on the plains. The 1995 squad finished the season with an 8-3 record for coach Gene Stallings.
