  Alabama vs. Vanderbilt A week after defeating the hated Vols, there would be no letdown, and the Tide would defeat the Commodores by a score of 30-8 on the road in Nashville. Tyler Watts would open the scoring for the Tide with his 9 yard touchdown run in the first. In the second, Kyle Robinson would hit a pair of field goals (36 and 22 yards) to give Bama a 13-0 halftime lead, and Shaud Williams would visit the end zone in the third with his 9 yard touchdown run. After a 42 yard Robinson field goal in the fourth, Brodie Croyle would throw a 41 yard touchdown pass to Dre Fulgham to close the Tide's scoring. For the game, Triandos Luke would star in having 102 yards receiving in the contest. The 2002 squad would finish the season with a record of 10-3 for coach Dennis Franchione in his final season at the Capstone.
