  Alabama vs. Vanderbilt Two weeks after a crushing loss to Georgia Tech spoiled any chances of going to a post-season game, the Tide came back home to face Vandy in Birmingham and defeated the Commodores 20-0, and in the process, Alabama spoiled Vandy's chances for its first undefeated season in a decade. John Cain got himself onto the scoreboard for the first time since fully returning from his injury with a 10 yard run in the first half. Millard Howell connected with Ralph Gandy for a 15 yard touchdown pass in the second quarter, and in the third quarter Howell intercepted a Vanderbilt pass and ran it back 82 yards for the third and final score. Alabama finished the 1932 season with a record of 8-2 for Coach Frank Thomas.
