  Date: 11/27/1930
  Score: 13-0
Alabama vs. Georgia For the final game of the 1930 regular season the Crimson Tide met the Georgia Bulldogs in Birmingham. With a thus far undefeated regular season a win for Alabama would mean a trip to Pasadena to play in the annual Rose Bowl game and they did just that defeating Georgia by the shutout score of 13-0. This game was a thriller throughout and it wasn't decided until the final quarter when Bama pushed through its second touchdown of the game. In the first quarter an Alabama assault on the Dogs landed the ball on the 1 yard line where Monk Campbell pushed it in for the 6-0 lead. The score remained unchanged until the final quarter when John Cain went over for a 2 yard touchdown to finally give the fans something to cheer about. Alabama was given the Rose Bowl bid the next day. The 1930 squad finished the season 10-0 as Southern Conference champions and as National champions for coach Wallace Wade in his final season at Alabama.
