  Date: 11/6/1993
  Score: 13-17
Alabama vs. LSU This 17-13 loss to the Tigers marked the end on a 31 game unbeaten streak for the Tide. Alabama was down 14-0 heading into the fourth, and in the fourth David Palmer would throw a pair of touchdown passes (3 yards to Tarrant Lynch and 22 yards to Kevin Lee). However, it was to little to late and Alabama suffered their first defeat since a 35-0 loss to Florida in 1991. The 1993 squad finished with a record of 9-3-1 and with a victory in the Gator Bowl for coach Gene Stallings; however, as a result of NCAA violations, Alabama was forced to forfeit a number of games giving Bama an official record of 1-12 for the 1993 season.
