  Score: 42-7
Alabama vs. Kentucky For the first time all season Alabama did not win its game via the shutout but still had no problem knocking off Kentucky for homecoming 42-7. Pooley Hubert scored the first touchdown of the game on an 8 yard run through center. Late in the second quarter Bama, though great end runs and stellar passing scored its second touchdown of the day with a pass from Grant Gillis to Hershel Caldwell. The third quarter saw the Wildcat's only touchdown when a Gillis pass was intercepted at the Kentucky 5 and was ran all the way untouched for the score. On the ensuing kickoff Mack Brown took the ball at his own 1 yard line and with great down field blocking ran down the sidelines 99 yard to pay dirt. Pooley Hubert scored the next two touchdowns on short dives across the goal line and he also figured as the key blocker in the final score, which saw Dave Rosenfeld take back a punt 76 yards. The 1924 squad finished the season 8-1 for the first Southern Conference title in school history for coach Wallace Wade.
