  Alabama vs. Auburn In the first meeting between these two storied rivals, Auburn defeated Alabama 32-22. Frank Savage scored Bama's first score on a trick play around end and William Bankhead kicked the goal to give Alabama a 6-4 lead. Dan Smith scored the next Alabama touchdown and G.H. Kyser kicked the goal. William Little circled Auburn's end in the second half for the scored and Kyser kicked the goal for the third Alabama score. Near the end of the game Smith ran one into the endzone and the point after failed to end the Cadet's scoring at 22. The inaugural team was coached by E.B. Beaumont and finished with a record of 2-2.
