Alabama vs. Arkansas The Razorbacks did not stand a chance against an Alabama defense that would only allow 151 yards of total offense in this 43-3 rout. In the first, Bama would score on a 22 yard Michael Proctor field goal, a 25 yard touchdown pass from Jay Barker to Tarrant Lynch, and on a 44 yard interception return for a touchdown by Antonio Langham. In the second, the Tide would score touchdowns on a 3 yard Sherman Williams run, and again on a 16 yard pass from Barker to David Palmer. Bama's points in the third came on a pair of Proctor field goals (30 and 31 yards). Brian Burgdorf would close the Tide's scoring with his 7 yard touchdown run in the fourth. For the third week in a row, Williams would rush for over 100 yards (148 in the game). The 1993 squad finished with a record of 9-3-1 and with a victory in the Gator Bowl for coach Gene Stallings; however, as a result of NCAA violations, Alabama was forced to forfeit a number of games giving Bama an official record of 1-12 for the 1993 season.
