  Alabama vs. Vanderbilt On the strength of 23 fourth quarter points, the Crimson Tide defeated the Commodores by a score of 33-25. After getting down early, Brian Burgdorf ran in a 4 yard touchdown to even the score in the first quarter. Michael Proctor added in a field goal in the second quarter, and the teams went into the locker room at the half tied at 10. Vandy came out strong in the second half scoring nine points, but Alabama would not be defeated. Dennis Riddle ran in from one yard out to cut the lead to just two points. Three minutes later Michael Proctor stuck a 32 yard kick through the uprights to put the Tide on top by one. After Vanderbilt recovered a fumble for a touchdown, Brian Burgdorf rushed for his second touchdown to put the Tide up again by one point. Brad Ford intercepted a Vandy pass and brought it 46 yards to the house for the to seal the victory. The 1995 squad finished the season with an 8-3 record for coach Gene Stallings.
