  Alabama vs. Louisiana Tech The game was a defensive struggle from the start but the Bama defense was the better of the two shutting La Tech out and only allowing 117 yards of total offense and five first downs. The only offensive points of the game came in the first half by two field goals from Michael Proctor; the first a 37 yard kick and the second a 35 yarder. Bama's only touchdown of the game came off of a 63 yard punt return by David Palmer. The 1992 squad finished with a record of 13-0, as SEC champions, and as national champions for coach Gene Stallings.
