  Alabama vs. Arkansas Going into the game, the Razorbacks boasted the nations number one defense, but the Tide's offense would simply dominate in gaining 552 yards of total offense in this 30-12 Alabama victory in Fayetteville. On the first play from scrimmage, Shaud Williams would score on an 80 yard touchdown run, and later in the first, Brodie Croyle would throw a 28 yard touchdown pass to Sam Collins. Over the next three quarters, Brian Bostick would hit a trio of field goals (28, 36, and 37 yards) before Croyle hit Zach Fletcher for a 50 yard touchdown reception in the fourth. For the game, Croyle would throw for 285 yards and a pair of touchdowns, Beard would rush for 134 yards, and Williams would rush for 119 yards. The 2002 squad would finish the season with a record of 10-3 for coach Dennis Franchione in his final season at the Capstone.
