  Score: 24-0
Alabama vs. Howard Former Alabama center Clyde "Shorty" Propst came back to the Capstone as Howard's head coach. Unfortunately, Alabama would not make his return to Tuscaloosa a happy one as the Tide would roll by a score of 24-0 over Howard. Bama would score in all four quarters of the game. However, every point after attempt was missed resulting in 24 as opposed to 28 points scored by the Tide. Touchdowns were scored on runs by Millard "Dixie" Howell, Joe Riley, and Joe Demyanovich (who would score two of the four). The 1934 squad would finish the season with a record of 10-0, as SEC champions, and as national champions after defeating Stanford in the Rose Bowl for head coach Frank Thomas.
