  Alabama vs. Chattanooga Alabama opened the 1994 season with this 42-13 victory over the I-AA Mocs of Chattanooga. Sherman Williams would open the scoring with his 32 yard touchdown run in the first. Brian Steger would follow with a pair of touchdown runs (19 and 6 yards). Bama's lone second quarter score came on a 9 yard touchdown pass from Jay Barker to Curtis Brown. Bama would conclude its scoring for the day on a pair of third quarter touchdown runs. Williams would visit the end zone again on a 1 yard plunge, and then Dennis Riddle would follow with a 2 yard touchdown run. For the game, Williams would rush for 153 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The 1994 squad would finish with a record of 12-1 and with a victory in the Citrus Bowl for coach Gene Stallings.
