The Bryant Museum offers rental of the facility after hours. The Museum closes at 4:00pm. The Museum is available for receptions serving light hors’dourves (finger food-appetizers)and beverages. Food and beverages are set up in the lobby. The Museum has eight 6' tables to place in the lobby for food and beverages. The Museum does not supply table cloths for these tables. No outside tables or chairs can be brought in due to lack of room in the lobby.
The capacity is 150 guests. Guests have access to the exhibit hall.
Security cost is additional and may be required. This is determined by number of guests, time, and if alcohol is served. Please discuss if alcohol is to be served with Museum as there are University policies and guidelines.
The cost is $350.00 for a two hour reception. One hour before for set-up and one hour after for clean-up is added to this time. Clean up is the party taking out what is brought in and taking out the trash (we provide trash cans).
The staff sets up and takes down the Museum’s tables and housekeeping cleans the next morning.
Since this reception agreement was written Risk Management has added an “approved caterers list”.
The University of Alabama (“University”) has reviewed the use of catering firms and is implementing a program to develop a list of caterers that meet certain requirements and are willing to operate within the terms of a licensing agreement.
